The new content also comes with an update to the base game, bringing the game to version 2.4.0. Well, as promised, Nintendo has released the 5th wave of the Booster Course Pass.
Of course, when the release of a new wave of DLC occurs, it usually coincides with an update to the base game. You may recall that, last week, Nintendo had officially announced that the 5th wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass would be releasing on July 12th.
